Inventory

Directions:

The process should take about 5 minutes. You may want to print these instructions out first. Steps 1-3 need to be completed if this is your first inventory only. If a computer inventory has been done on your computer already, skip to step 4. Subsequent inventories will take less than one minute.

1. Open Internet Explorer, then go to:
1. Tools
2. Internet Options
3. Security
4. Custom Level
5. Scroll down to the 3rd item from the bottom- "Enable XSS filter: - a select "disable."
6. Select "Apply" or "OK" buttons until it is finished.
2. Open Trend Micro, then go to:
   1. Internet and Email Controls
   2. Parental Controls
   3. Settings
   4. Approved Web sites
   5. Add
   6. Enter http://www.goodwillfarm.com
   7. Click "OK" or "Apply" until a pop-up message appears to close your browser. Click "OK."
3. Close your browser.
4. Open Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is required to run the inventory. If you are using another Web browser, please close it and open Internet Explorer and navigate to this page again.
5. Click the "Local Tool" button on this page to start the inventory process.
   
   
6. Click "Open."
   
   
   
7. Click "Run."
   
   
   
8. Please wait while the inventory tool reads information from your computer network.
   
   
9. Click "OK."
   
   
   
10. Click "Upload." This will automatically upload it to the Good Will Farm Tech Atlas account.
    
11. If a computer inventory has been done on your computer previously, it will prompt you to overwrite the existing computer data. Check the box next to the computer name and click "overwrite checked computers." Otherwise, you may close your browser now. Thank you for your help!
