Mission Statement

Every child has a right to a safe, secure, welcoming environment for visitation with his/her parent, free from abuse, threats, or violence.

We strive to provide a safe and caring place for positive parent/child interaction, to provide support and education for every parent and child.

About the Program

The goal of the Parenting Time Program (PTP) is to increase access for noncustodial parents to their children, and to prevent emotionally charged or physically threatening contacts between parents during visitation.

The PTP will provide a safe and neutral location for visitation and supervision for parents who have been limited in their contact with their children or need to have their parenting time monitored.

Referrals

Parent are referred to the PTP by the Friend of the Court or Family Independent Agency

The Parenting Time Program is operated by Good Will Farm and is funded through a contract with the Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga County Friend of the Court with funding from the State Court Administrative Office. Parents who use the program must be clients of the Friend of the Court or referred through the FIA as long as the FIA does not have a visitation program.
