Parent Aide

The Parent Aide provides an array of services to support family funtioning. These services are provided in the family's home, or at the family request, a location mutually agreed upon by the Parent Aide and the family.

These services may involve modeling, demonstrating, assisting, and supervising in any of the following areas as identified in the service plan:

1. Child Care
   • Parenting Skills and Techniques
   • Assisting Parent in Assuring School Attendance
   • Helping Parent Arrange for Tutoring
2. Home Management
3. Money Management
4. Nutrition Education
5. Transportation

The Parent Aide works in consort with the referring agency worker and family to develop goals and activities to support the service plan.
